The D'holbachs International Union is a collection of independent city states that separated from the Yuuz Kingdom when demons emerged from Academic City Arte, 200 years prior to the events of The Girl Who Ate a Death God. Much of this territory was the Kingdom's fertile farmland and resource-rich mines, so they where able to quickly grow in economic power. The Union is under constant pressure from the Yuuz Kingdom that seeks to regain its lost territory.[1]
